What a lame comment Jove! Has Roubini anything to do with Zionism? He's economic professor and was pretty acurate in his forecasts btw. If you don't like his outlook that's your problem... May be you you expect the economy to spike next year, but that's not the consensus atm.

I trust this guy more than I trust Henry Paulson or President Bush. Remember Bush; he's the one that kept saying the economy is basically strong for too long. Then all of a sudden Congress caves and gives a blank check of $700 billion because President Bush says something like "this suckers gonna collapse."

He's right about 09, we may see some mitigating in the summer, and, if markets anticipate, some upswing, but the trashing of 08 XMAS will have folks skittish UNLESS they figure the low bar about to be set, is easily beaten by then.
In any event, watch for improvements in foreclosures and home sales--even at reduced prices--that'll be key in lifting the gloom, from Dr.Doom |
